Question 1

What kind of rally co-driver and pace note app is Apex Clipping?

Accepted Answer

Apex Clipping is an Android navigation app that turns your smartphone into a professional rally co-driver. Simply set a destination or route, and the app automatically analyzes upcoming road curvature, angles, and distances to call out real-time pace notes synchronized with your driving speed.

Question 2

Can I customize the pace note grading system and callout word order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In addition to the standard 6-Grade system (1–6), Pro unlocks 9-Grade detailed notes, Descriptive phrasing, and Angle Degrees. You can also toggle between Direction-first ("Left 3") and Number-first ("3 Left") call orders, as well as invert the severity scale.

Question 3

Can I keep the app UI in my language while setting the co-driver voice to another language?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Apex Clipping supports 7 languages (English, Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Finnish) and lets you configure the UI display language and the co-driver voice language completely independently.

Question 4

Is the app free to use? How does the 7-day free trial for Pro work?

When you subscribe to a Monthly or Annual Pro plan via Google Play for the first time, you get a 7-day free trial unlocking 100% ad-free navigation, all 4 pace note systems, smart auto-rerouting, and unlimited storage.
